SANTA CATERINA VILLAGE
In the astonishing beauty of Cedar Riviera, the Calabrian side of the marvelous Policastro Gulf, directly on the coast of the Tyrrhenian sea, Scalea is one of the oldest cities of Calabria. It is located on the ruins of Greek-Lucan Laos and Roman Lavinium. The human presence is dated in prehistory with fossil finds in the caves below the Talao tower. Directly downtown, lining on its large private beach, with a wonderful view of our sunsets and deep blue sea, you find Santa Caterina Resort Hotel & SPA. The complex is 40.000 sqm wide. There you can find many gardens, sports facilities and various amusement for different activities, for families, young travelers, and adults and retired also.
Consisting in two buildings, in Mediterranean style, connected by a shopping center, with souvenirs shop, newspaper, and tobacco shop, wear, and toys shop, the guests can reach the beach directly from their room, thanking our direct access to the private beach.
PRIVATE BEACH
Santa Caterina Resort offers a large private pebble beach, with a water sports center, sun chair, sunbed, and sun umbrella, lifeguard, bar, and dancing. Each room is entitled to have his sun umbrella, sun chair, and sunbed, with no extra charge. The use of the beach is exclusive for hotel guests.
WATER SPORT CENTER
Our Water Sports center is equipped with canoeing, windsurfing, and sailboating, with no extra charge. In our Resort, there is the Calabria Diving Center for those who love snorkeling and scuba diving at a very reasonable price, with a 5* PADI instructor.
RESORT & VILLAGE RESTAURANT
We offer two restaurants for our guests: the Resort Restaurant and the Village Restaurant. Both offer a various and delicious buffet with typical recipes from Italian and Mediterranean tradition, including also the specialties of Calabrian tradition.

Located on the border of the Natural Park of Maremma, it combines a vacation by the sea with the tranquillity of the vast green spaces. The farm is located 5 km from the sea and 5 km from the centre of Grosseto.

Formula Hotel – 4 stars accommodation in different rooms and furnished in typical Tuscan style. They are located in the main building and have a private bathroom with a wardrobe, hairdryer, minibar, independent air conditioning, and TV with digital TV, telephone, safe, balcony. Hotel catering with half board: buffet breakfast, 3-course dinner with table service; special buffet evenings possible.
